Twister

Twister is a game of physical skills by hasbro. That game use a big plastic mat... and this mat have many colofulls balls on it with a different colors: red, yellow, blue, and green. For play this game, you need a spiner:

The spiner indicates which movement should be done on the plastic mat. For example, a player moves the spiner pointer with force, and wait to see where the pointer will stop... the pointer can stop in: right hand yellow... so the player need put the righ hand in the yellow circle. This game is so fun, because many times all the players will be in a weird position.

There's no limit of  to how many can play at once, but more than 4 will be difficult, because the mat is not so biggest. The game stops, when someone fall or put the elbow or knee on the mat.

Foods that I miss...

I don't miss my food so much, but I miss the moments when I ate with my family! My Dad is so funny, he always make me laught. But, in my farewell in Brazil, I ate barbecue, but the barbecue in Brazil is different... isn't like american barbecue. Has so much meat and other foods (like rice and salad) the most famous is "Picanha":

Are so delicious and I love then so much... when I return to Brazil, the first food I will want to eat is "Churrasco"! If you go to Brazil, You need go to a "Churrascaria", the most famous and expensive are: "Fogo de Chao" (http://www.fogodechao.com/), has the same here in US...

I miss so much the brazilian breakfast! I love drink Coffe and Milk (I REALLY MISS THIS), and the popular bread in Brazil calls "French Bread"... everybody eats it! It is shiper, and you can find this bread and every bakery...

In this weekend, my mother will do a "Feijoada", is a tipical food in Brazil... is a old food! They says "Feijoada" are created by slaves in the beginning of Brazil. I love this food, but have some ingredients I don't really like... but, is a big beans "soup" with meats... pork and cow beaf, so when I pick up the food, I choose the meat... I always take dried meat and beans.

If you go to Brazil, you need to taste the "Feijoada" with "Caipirinha". "Caipirinha" is a popular Brazilian Drink... have lemon, sugar and "Cachaca" (a brazilian alcohol drink)...

So, firstly I said: I don't miss so much, but after I wrote this post I will say: I MISS THE FOOD SO MUCH...  but I think american food is delicious, especially the sweets!

My Travel Diary

Dear diary,
I just arrived in US... I'm in NY...  here is so beautiful, and big! I love it!
I'm staying in an apartament for tourist, here we live like american people... for few days, there is a kitchen, dorms, living room and bathroom!
In USA, it is cold for me, and I need buy some winter cothes, I love go to shopping with my best friend: MY MOM!

I don't know some places yet, but I went to MOMA and Central Park, because it's near to my apartament.. and I recommend these places!

Now I need to lern how to walk in the NY subways... are so different and they are complicated for me, but is very nice, here in NY I can go to all the places with subway!
In next week, I'm going to Cancun in México... I love natural places!

Diar diary,
I just arrived in Cancun, México... I'm staying in Krystal Hotel (Hotel's Link)... My dorm is so big and beautiful... like a castle... I feel like a queen hahahaha and my mom too!

I bought a lot of winter clothes in NY, but in Cancun is so hot... so I need buy bikini, dresses, flip flops and more... I'm so confunsing, I can't expend a lot of money... I need the money for the other days in Peru and Brazil!
This morning, I went to walk on the beach... I love this place! Have a lot of tourists and are so glamours! I took a picture of the view of my dorm, my camera aren't so good, sorry... look:

And tomorrow, me and mommy we want to swim with the dolphins!
I need to take advantage because in a three days I will go to Machu Picchu in Peru...
I'm so excited!
Now I'm going to eat some shrimp... after, I will go to the party in México... arriba muchacho!

Dear diary,
I'm so sad... my travel is coming in the end! I arrived in Machu Picchu 3 days ago... but just now I can come on in internet... because I didn't have time... I did a lot of things! And my flight was cancell.
I went to Machu Picchu, is like a city in the top of the montain...

This old city was built in de century XV, and here lived the Incas! I love history!
Today I ate a typical Peruian food... the name is "ceviche" (consists in raw fish with lemon) is very good, I loved!
Here I rented a bicycle, ir more easy to walk on the streets... and the way is so beatiful!

I was with my mom, in a luxury hotel (sanctuarylodgehotel)! I'm in a presidencial suite, here have 35 square maters in size, and the view are from the personal garden!  Oh my God, I can't expend all my money, but these memories are forever!
In two days, I will go to Maragogi... in Brazil, and after, I will return to my home in Sao Paulo!

I'm so happy! This travel are wonderful... and now, I'm in Brazil, everybody speaks Portuguese... oooohhh I like this, I can speak with everybody, and I can help the tourists with my english skills :)
"Maragogi: the Caribbean of Brazil"... this phrase resumes Maragogi.... I'm in Albacora Hotel (Hotel's Link), isn't a luxury hotel, but I liked in this way... here is so amazing!

My room is an ensuite... and every hotel in Brazil serves a breakfest inclued, and the food is so good!

Today I went to the beach, but my mom stayed in our room...

Maragogi is a good place to go with family! I recommend it!

Tomorrow I will do a tour with a boat, here the tours are so famous!

Now, I will go to sleep, I'm so tired!

My name is Bruna, I'm from Brazil and I'm an exchange student of EF... now, I live in Tarrytown - NY... well, I'm 18 but in 1st november I'll 19 and this year is the first year far from my home and parents! I love to listen music, my favorite band is Linkin Park, I wish to know the guys one day... seems stupid to say that, but we need to believe in our dreams!
